High-octane Beat Production Tool!
Nothing should stand in the way of you and your music. The key to any really good beat production tool is its simplicity. The more outwardly complex a program is to operate, the harder it is to stay focused on the track you're laying down. That's what so special about FXpansion's Geist sampling drum machine and groove production virtual instrument - there's nothing complicated about it. With a single click, you can slice up a loop and assign the slices to pads. Its ultra-streamlined browser makes finding loops and samples lightning fast, and its intuitive layout lets you move between the browser, sampler, effects, and sequencing sections effortlessly. Use prefab loops or sample in your own material. You can even easily resample in Geist, allowing you add new layers of creativity to your own work.

Geist also comes loaded with killer effects, including DCAM modeled compression, filtering and drive. You can use the pattern sequencer to program beats old-school style and define parameter automation, or simply hit record and lay down tracks in real time. Geist's Retro Record function is always recording in the background, so even if you forget to hit record, your performance isn't lost. On top of that, Geist features an integrated song mode, which lets you lay out complex loop and sample arrangements on a linear timeline. And since Geist can run either in standalone or plug-in mode, you can use it as part of your studio setup, or load it up on a laptop and use it live. Any way you adopt FXpansion Geist as part of your music production rig, we're sure you're going to love it.
