A tool for everyone
Anyone who's ever set up a production of any kind knows the back-breaking chore taping down cables can be, but the GaffGun makes light work of everyone's least favorite part of the gig. First, choose a cable guide and snap it in to place on the bottom of the GaffGun. Then, install your tape by sliding it on and locking it into place using the patent-pending CoreLok system that secures the roll and keeps it from spinning freely. Feed the tape through to the back of the GaffGun and when you're ready to tape, line up the racing stripes to center your tape line and pull a lead of tape from the back of the GaffGun to get it started. As you push the GaffGun along, keeping the stripes centered, the cable guide pulls in and straightens your cables and applies the tape over them, creating a clean, smooth tape line and securing your cables — all in one quick pass of the GaffGun. When your cables are taped down, use the convenient cutting surface on the back to end your tape line. And there's no downward force required for the GaffGun to work, the design does it all for you. It's that easy to accomplish what used to take more than twice as long, involved a lot of bending and stretching, and required even more tape!
Easily adapts to fit your taping needs
The GaffGun uses a series of interchangeable cable guides that gather your cables as you tape them down, eliminating the need for tape anchors and a second pair of hands to straighten them out. The small guide is ideal for working with up to two standard mic or other similarly sized cables. If you're taping down three or four mic cables or a mix of cables with different gauges, the medium-size cable guide is your choice. And the large guide handles up to six mic cables, larger-sized power cables, VGA cables, or a combination of cable types and sizes. When you need to tape off sections of a room or apply double-sided tape to event carpeting, the convenient floor guide helps you create clean, straight tape lines to keep the space organized and safe.
Easy-to-install, convenient extension handle
The GaffGun has a short handle integrated into its base and comes with a long extension handle to make using it that much easier. Simply screw the handle into place and adjust it to a level that's comfortable for you. When you're done, the extension handle removes for easy transporting and storage.
