I bought this with no real expectations but the sounds produced by the amps and pedals are SO nice and it's easy enough to use for a beginning guitarist without any research. The installation/activation process was also a lot smoother than any other plugin/software I've used so far. GREAT for quiet practice. I haven't tried it with Live yet but I'm sure it'll be just as good as using it stand alone. (Also did not expect to be able to use it without booting up my DAW.)

Worth the price

This plug-in has a great amp-modeling sound. You can get a nice, clean tube sound or a straight on distorted Marshall tone. the FX don't sound too bad, either. The cabinet modeling feature is cool. You can model a 2x12, 4x12 or 1x12 cab with open or closed back And you can model a different dynamic or condenser mics, put them centered or off-axis. It's a neat plug-in.

I was very surprised when I plugged in. The amps are very musical and fun, and I'm hard pressed to hear the difference between the software and an actual amp. I've tried all the amp modelers, and this one came out on top along with Pod Farm. Stop worrying about authenticity and play these excellent digital amps! Awesome free demo for this one, too.

Good tool

Great for tracking a track or two but I've had introduced noise that I'm not sure how to get out. Mainly in delay setting. Besides that it's good.
