Sweet Playing Guitar

I retired my Les Paul after 35 years of some great times, so I needed a new guitar just to play around the house. I looked at 20 or more different guitars was going to settle on a Fender Duo sonic HS when the sales man said that I need to try this guitar out. lets just say I could not have guess the sound that came out and the feel of this guitar. Sure its only $, made in China but I was sold on it from that point on. now the Les Paul can be displayed in a glass case on my wall.

Great guitar for ANY player

This is a fantastic guitar for ANY player. The pickups are the same as the larger model. Very clean and clear and the volume really works to clean up or add to the gain. I did put in a set of locking tuners. It was okay at staying in tune but a set of locking tuners and a set up put this guitar right up there with my full size guitars. The fret work on this was really nice. No rough fret edges, a very slight buzz here and there but the set up easily took care of the problems. I have to say I love this guitar for sitting on the couch and practicing scales or chords. It's not my everyday guitar but if something ever happened to it I would replace it with the same model. I've played the mini strats and some of the other short scale guitars and the build quality of the Mikro is much better. Totally worth the purchase price.

Great Guitar for it's size

I used to own an epihone les-paul which was a great guitar however I'm not a tall man and don't have long arms so when I saw the Mikro I figured that's for me. This guitar sounded great right out of the box. But to make it more fantastic, I opted to buy and instal a pair of Dragonfire Screamers, Humbucker pickups whichby the way were purple and complemented the purple Mikro very nicely. I replaced the strings with a set of D'Addario EXL110's and I have to tell you this guitar sounds Fantastic. The fretboard is smooth and small enough to fit my short arms and when plugged into my ampeg sounds Great!! For the size this guitar is definately not a kids toy. Sounds Proffessional and Great and easy to play. I would highly recomend it. A great guitar to practice, travel, or even use on stage for gigs.
