Better than Pedaltrain! And Lighter!

Great board. Incidentally I do not see what all the hype is over the PT's? This board does everything AND is less money. Very lightweight aluminum and my PP2 Plus fits like a glove. BTW, if you need a rep, I would handpick Mr. Jason Cannon. 5 star service so give him a raise!
Music background: Playing for a few years ;), now play lead guitar for Central Worship!

perfect board

was looking at getting a custom board so I could route everything out of sight. Then I ran across this. PERFECT!!!! could not be any happier.

Great board, I love it.

I'd been using a pedal board I made myself, molded after the Pedaltrain 2, for years. I finally decided to take the plunge on a pre-made board and ended up on the Gator board. Overall, I love it, and I highly recommend it. One thing I absolutely love is the color choices. It really stands out compared to basic black all the time, and it actually makes it easy to find your pedals on stage. The build quality is outstanding, the board is aluminum but it's thick and stiff and durable without being too heavy. The slanted perforations are a nice touch, and don't give as much room to put your cables through, but they do the job well. For the carrying case, I'm able to put my board, ear plugs, two instrument cables and a portable stage stand inside for easy carrying. It's comfortable to carry by both the handle and the shoulder strap. So it's perfect right?? Not quite. I'd like the actual face of the pedal board to be about 1" taller to accommodate a second row of Velcro at the top. The board is pictured with two rows of pedals all running vertically. Doing this the top row only allows for a single contact point by Velcro between the board and the pedal, and I found this was not secure. The bottom row by example can contact the pedal at the top and bottom holding it into place. You have two choices, first is to only use your top row with pedals running horizontally, and second is to add a fourth row of Velcro at the very top to add another contact point. I find both less than ideal depending on how many pedals you want to fit. In the end, with my number of pedals, it works fine as is.The only other item I'd mark as a negative is size selection. Gator offers the Large for roughly 8-12 pedals depending on a variety of factors, and a Small single row board good for about 5 pedals. I'd like to see some size offered in the middle of the two boards. However, if the board size fit's your needs, and you can work with the top row, I highly recommend this board.
