Great little stand!

This stand is a testament to the fact that sometimes you don't need to spend a lot to get a lot. Most of the time with mic stands I'll say that you get what you pay for but this is a exception to that rule. I needed a small stand for my home studio for recording guitar and bass cabinets. I didn't need anything fancy so I got this stand as part of a package deal that Sweetwater was running in May of 2017. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this thing was made for the money and even more surprised at how well it worked. So far I've used a SM57, a MD421, and a U87 on it and it doesn't budge once you lock it down. It might even handle a FET 47 but I don't have one to try out. Take my word for it. We have some high dollar mic stands in our main studio so I'm familiar with what good stands are like and cost. I must say that honestly for the money you would be hard pressed to find something better than this. Sure it has a lot of plastic used in it's construction but if your not taking it on the road and are just using it in your home studio it should last you many years. If I need a second small stand for home I'll be getting another one of these for sure. Good stuff!

Superb quality mic stand and service from Sweetwater and Dan Overstreet

Perfect for me

Can't say a bad thing about it. Holds my beta 52 in my bass drum and my SM52 on my snare.
