Style and feel based on Eddy's original 1957 Gretsch G6120 archtop

When Gretsch created their G6120DE Duane Eddy signature model, they set out to preserve as much of the feel and style of Eddy's original 1957 G6120 archtop as possible. They started by giving the G6120DE Duane Eddy a 3-piece maple neck with the exact profile (and headstock) as Eddy's prized G6120. Along with a bound rosewood fingerboard, this unique neck profile gives you an incredibly smooth feel and delightfully fast action.

Dual DynaSonic pickups deliver timeless single-coil Gretsch sound

These are the pickups that defined generations of early rock and roll, rockabilly, jazz, and country guitar. Even today, there's just nothing else quite like the sound you get from a pair of real DynaSonic pickups loaded in the Gretsch G6120DE Duane Eddy signature model. They're part of what give the G6120DE Duane Eddy its most distinct vibe.

Guitar review

Have been playing guitar for 55 years - I have 3 wonderful guitars now -- a strat 58 relic -- an esquire 58 - custom shop and the g6120de - which is the greatest Gretsch ever - had it for 2 days now - it gives you all of the duane eddy sound and all rockabilly and general sounds you need -- cant wait to get to the next gig -- thank you fender and duane.
