Fold in simple waves for complex results
The Fold Processor takes up to two inputs. Step one, your signal hits the fold circuit, which lays on one of the basic waveforms — sine, triangle, sawtooth, or square, and anything in between. What's awesome about this circuit is that you can control the fold waveform via CV, allowing you to craft continuously morphing tones. Sweetwater synth geeks particularly like the results of feeding this CV in sample and hold.
Inject your tone with bias point manipulation
Simply adjusting the bias point of your signal can have a dramatic effect on your tone. With the twist of a knob, the Tiptop Audio Fold Processor can take your sound from gentle and smooth to hairy and a bit rude. Add CV control, and you get a whole extra palette of sound manipulation. Any way you apply it, the Inject phase of the Fold Processor preps your sound for the glorious sub-harmonic stage to come.
4-stage subharmonics add richness and depth
Each of the four subharmonic stages of the Fold Processor affects the signal one octave apart. You can blend and mix these harmonic generators to develop everything from ultra-fat bass patches to epically glitchy effects.
