Works very well!!!

Does the job just as good, or better than a traditional pedal. Looks very cool too. Quite impressed. I use this with my Synths, and might have to buy another one.

About it sliding around (here's the remedy):

I was concerned about buying a pedal some say will not stay put on the floor. So I looked around and then called Electro-Harmonix with a question about the compatibility of other expression pedals (with their C.ock Fight talking wah). They answered the phone instantly! And they told me there is an optional CRADLE for this pedal, to keep it from moving around. Sweetwater sells it. It's inexpensive even. Rules dont permit me to post an url, but search for EHX Expression Pedal CRADLE, you'll find it. And it will keep your EHX Expression Pedal from moving around. it will even allow you to attach it to your pedalboard if you want (just remember to re-calibrate it once you have it placed on the surface it will remain on. Calibrating is something you have to do anyway.) You can download the Owners Manual & Warranty info, as a pdf document at EHX's site. It explains about that. ((Sorry I couldn't post the url (rules, you know) but google is your friend, and once you get to EHX's site, use their search box to look for "Expression Pedal Cradle".}

This pedal does everything that they claim it does. Here's why you need to look before you leap as a guitarist... 1. You can't mount it to a pedal board 2. It slides ALL OVER THE PLACE on ANY surface (Believe me... I've tried) 3. You can't find a "sweet spot" and leave it there (like you would with your wah, for example). It IS extremely well built, and looks AMAZING, but for my personal needs, it doesn't get it done.

soo close

I love the function... Sounds amazing. However, even with the cradle (sold separately), I find it hard to use it fluidly. Without the cradle, it slides forward... With the cradle, it still slides forward... - other problems ensue.

Doesn't work with Fulltone's "WahFull" or Boss's "Auto-Wah", which is really weird since these are the pedals you'd WANT to use an expression pedal with... both the Fulltone and Boss pedals have a jack for "expression pedal" but this one from EH is no good! The only pedal this expression pedal works with, as far as I can tell (and I have over 20 of them) is the EH "Memory Boy". Really (REALLY) disappointing, since I spent top dollar for a pedal I cannot even use....
