Fully Analog Stereo Preamp for Serious Home Audiophiles
The SPL Elector is a completely analog stereo preamp with six analog connections, making it an ideal hub for connecting your hi-fi turntables, CD players, tape machines, and more. It bolsters every one of your source players with exceptional dynamic range, headroom, signal-to-noise performance, and detailed sound thanks to SPL’s proprietary 120V technology. Rounding out the Elector are mechanical VU meters, a dedicated tape monitor loop, and remote volume control via any infrared remote. Handbuilt in Germany with through-hole construction and discrete components, the SPL Elector is designed to be the beating heart of your analog hi-fi home audio oasis.

Easily controllable 6-source hub
The Elector supports up to six analog stereo sources via three balanced XLR and three gold-plated RCA connections. These consolidate your entire analog source stack into one clean signal path, and the IR Volume Control makes it effortlessly manageable. This feature lets you assign any two buttons on any infrared remote for volume up and volume down. The Elector also boasts a fixed-level Direct Output for connecting your preferred headphone amp, effectively turning the Elector into a source selector for both your speaker system and headphone setup without inadvertently affecting either signal path.

Analog feel and look
Pristine analog sound is in the Elector’s DNA, but Sweetwater home audio experts also laud the unit's sleek aesthetic and tactile responsiveness. Its dual mechanical VU meters are a rarity in modern preamps, and their adjustable sensitivity provides an accurate analog read of your signal across a wide range of source material. Additionally, the precision-motorized Alps RK27 “Big Blue” pot paired with a solid, milled aluminum Volume knob delivers a smooth, satisfying control feel. A modern technological marvel with astute vintage callbacks, you'll enjoy seeing the Elector in your setup almost as much as you’ll enjoy listening through it.
Proprietary 120V technology
SPL’s proprietary 120V reference technology refers to the internal DC voltage with which audio signals are processed. With an operational voltage four times that of IC-based semiconductor op-amps, SPL’s 120V technology achieves remarkable dynamic range, exceptional signal-to-noise performance, and vast headroom. Sonically, 120V reference technology manifests through an extraordinary richness of detail and a supremely relaxed, organic rendition of musical source material.
