In lieu of a typical highpass filter, RCF’s engineers have outfitted the EVOX V15 with a forward-thinking tone-shaping system called Bass Motion Control for enhanced low-end performance. It’s an advanced form of woofer excursion management that can handle even the lowest audible frequencies with maximum woofer stability, clarity, and definition, working by creating a complete map of the woofer’s behavior and then generating a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This results in greatly enhanced low-register performance without changing phase behavior in the slightest.
