Everlast Strings from Ernie Ball!

Ernie Ball strings have been a top choice for players of all types since the early 1960s, when guitarists came into Ernie Ball's music store, customizing their string gauges to make their axes easier to play. After fruitless attempts to interest major guitar manufacturers in a lighter set of strings, Ernie Ball decided to start making his own. When you open a pack of his strings today, you know you're getting a quality set of strings designed to give you great tone, reliable performance, and long life. You can't go wrong when you string up with Ernie Ball strings!

Ernie Ball's Everlast coating repels moisture and oils that can negatively affect your guitar strings. Using innovative nanotechnology, Everlast coating is 1,000 times thinner that other string coatings on the market. Extend the life and sound of your strings with Ernie Ball Everlast coated guitar strings!

Great strings twice the life as normal

I've been using these strings since the fall of 2015. Besides playing acoustic gigs, I play about 6-8 nursing homes a month from oldies to country they sound good and don't oxidize near as quickly as the new aluminum strings and last longer. I change strings about once a month and get a good 18-20 hours worth of gig time out of each set. Then when I'm done, I keep the old ones to help kids out out school who have broken strings, so they get even more use out of them when they can't afford strings.

Not impressed

I've been using Elixir strings, decided to try some other coated strings. With the EB, the low E has a weird overtone, and the high E string broke right away when first tuning it up (standard tuning, nothing fancy.)The strings don't feel 'slippery' like the Elixirs, though.
