Ernie Ball Bronze Strings

Ernie Ball strings have been a top choice for players of all types since the early 1960s, when guitarists came into Ernie Ball's music store, customizing their string gauges to make their axes easier to play. After fruitless attempts to interest major guitar manufacturers in a lighter set of strings, Ernie Ball decided to start making his own. When you open a pack of his strings today, you know you're getting a quality set of strings designed to give you great tone, reliable performance, and long life. You can't go wrong when you string up with Ernie Ball strings!

Ernie's Light Earthwood 80-20 Bronze strings are made from 80% copper, 20% zinc wire wrapped around hex shaped tin plated steel core wire. They provide a crisp, ringing sound with pleasing overtones.

Best strings out there

I've tried many brands of strings through the years and these are the only ones I use. They are nice and bright initially and settle down with solid tuning very quickly. They keep a wonderful sound longer than you'll keep them on a guitar.

Great set of light strings that sound brilliant

Ernie Ball Strings

Its simple, This company has been making strings for a llllong time. Personally I have played for 25 years. I play Taylors and a Takamine. I don't care what string company pays them to or anyone to "recommend" a certain string for a guitar. Save yourself the time and money and get an awesome string for an awesome price! They never sound thin or tinny. You won't find yourself cranking up the low end to find the tone your looking for. I'm done spending $15-20 for a pack of strings that sound like crap. There's nothing like a fresh set of Earthwoods on your guitars.

Great Strings!!!!

I put these on my Martin, they sound SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!WOW!!!!!!

Nice For The Price

These are really nice sounding strings, and I like the feel of a lighterstring on my acoustic.I don't know how long before they start breakingdown(this is my first set) but if they last for awhile I will make them mypermanent brand of strings to use. Try them once and see what you think....I think I'm sold.
