You just can't beat the feel of this slim Flying V neck

This Gibson Flying V gives you the smooth feel and fast action of Gibson's Flying V slim profile neck. Early Les Pauls had huge necks, but by 1960 the neck underwent several modifications, eventually becoming the standard SlimTaper carve. And when you add to that the ultra-smooth feel of its grenadillo fingerboard, you get the best of both comfort and performance from the Gibson Flying V.

Nitrocellulose finish for vintage looks and feel

The Gibson Flying V wears a gorgeous nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Nitro finishes - standard back in the day - are significantly thinner than today's polyurethane finishes, allowing the guitar to breathe. Nitro finishes not only look vintage-y wonderful, but they also enhance the instrument's tonal qualities.

Plek'd for precision playability

This Gibson Flying V 2017 T feels fast and precise, thanks in large part to Plek processing. Typically reserved for top-dollar custom guitars, this process levels the frets with pinpoint precision, providing you with the most playable fretboard you're likely to own. Each note rings loud and clear, and the fret edges feel smooth as silk.

Gibson Flying V Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Comfortable, lightweight mahogany body lets you rock all night
  • 22-fret grenadillo fingerboard for extended-range shredding
  • Slim, lightweight, and smoothly contoured mahogany body won't tax your back
  • Slim Flying V mahogany neck feels great and provides ultra-fast action
  • Grenadillo fingerboard with dot inlays looks cool and is easy on your fingers
  • Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers deliver power, clarity, and aggressive tone
  • Nitrocellulose lacquer finish enhances this guitar's looks, feel, and tone
  • Gibson USA's Limited Lifetime Warranty and 24/7/365 Customer Service
Get rock 'n' roll attitude with the Gibson Flying V 2017 T!

Gibson Flying V

Very happy with this guitar it plays very well. It's about half the weight of my studio Les Paul and the pickups sound great.
