When we first heard the AT-1 here at Sweetwater, our first impression was that of a late-'50s PAF-style humbucker - but much, much louder. The AT-1 is optimized for 25.5" scale, mahogany-bodied guitars, but it sounds great on just about everything, with enough lows to warm up brighter guitars and enough clarity to add articulation to darker ones.
