Levys 3" strap

Very nice well made strap will get years of use out of it for sure. I was tired of cheaply made straps for my les Paul so I decided to step up to these. My music stores in the area didn't have them so I ordered from Sweetwater---good decision on my part. If you have a great guitar get a comfortable nice strap. P.S I also bought a Schaller strap lock.

So much better

I was a little worried at first because it said guitar strap and I play the bass. I was worried for nothing. It is a great strap for my bass. I received a Levy's several years ago and knew how they felt. It's great. I've been able to play without straining my shoulder.

Just buy it!

First let me tell you why I bought it. I recently purchased an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Pro from Sweetwater. I was a BLOWN away at how excellent that guitar arrived (I could talk for days); however, I am used to playing much lighter guitars. That being said, I would get shoulder and neck cramps from playing my new Les Paul, so I found myself playing my other guitars instead. I decided to try this strap so that I could play the LP more. It worked!! WOW, what a difference!!! The quality is there, the price is there. Just buy it.

Awesome Strap for old Bones

Using this on a 5 string Squier VM Jaguar Bass. As I understand this is about a medium weight for a 5 string. I've got bad joints all over, and was a bit worried about the weight of the new bass on my shoulder and neck. Bad left shoulder joint and 4 bad disks in my neck. This and the bass came in three days ago and I've put in 4 to 6 hours a day standing. I have not noticed any additional pain than normal, it's very comfortable, and as I focus on learning I don't notice the weight of the bass at all. The three in width seems perfect. As for length, at 5' 11" (I lost an inch over the years), I have it one notch shorter than the medium setting using the bottom/longer keyhole on the tip of the adjustable end. This sets it lower than the seated position, but I am uncomfortable playing seated in a normal chair and it sets it where my wrists are best positioned to keep them straight. So, I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't play the guitar super low or is really tall. The length is listed and they have longer ones, so it would be as simple as measuring your old strap to be sure. The quality seems very good. Mine was made in Canada. The Keyholes are very tight and will not come off by accident. If the leather ever fails, I might order one of the heavier more expensive Levy's, but I would prefer not to have the additional weight. I expect this one will last a very long time under my use, but a pro might want to look to one of the more expensive straps.

Levys DM1 PD 3" leather strap

Very nice strap for the money. Not a long strap for players who like their insturments down by their knees.(LOL) This strap at its longest is just below my waist which is where I prefer, but if it were any shorter, I coulndn"t use it. Its a solid strap, very well made. Should last a long time. I will be getting a couple more of these in the future. Very comfortable with a Strat or comparable guitar. I dont know what it would be like with an LP as they are heavier and just hang different.
