Game Over

If unmatched tone is your goal, this is your cabinet. Aguilar spares nothing to get you a cabinet that produces a throaty musical sound that belies the physical stature of this unit. 1 kicks hard; 2 are "beyond" for their size. I showed up for a sub gig where, I know the regular bass player uses a WALL of Eden cabinets and a crazy rack mount system that just screams "backache" to me. When I set up my 2 Aggie Cabs and Tonehammer 500 head, the drummer laughed at me suggesting that my diminutive rig could never cut the gig. Then I played..and he became a believer. Just great, fat n chunky tone that projects big! Now the bad. They really could benefit from 2 carry handles instead of one, or the strap should be repositioned so that you can walk more comfortably with one by your side. Also, get covers if you care about the vinyl covering. That said, all is forgiven once you start playing. Highly Recommended!!

Little Bad Boy

This is definitely a pro speaker cab. These days it's hard to find quality bass equipment. Aguilar is serious about making the best cabs possible. This cabs. strong point is great low-mid freq. Also very good punchy lowend that is crystal clear. One cab is enough for rehearsall or small jobs. Two would be all you need. I'm running mine with a G-k 210 mbe2 on top. Just awesome tone that is very clean, powered with a 500 Tone Hammer.

Aguilar DB 112

The DB 112 by far passes it predecessors in its class range these speaker cabinets allows the musician to explore their full playability these cabinets are funky like Bootsy Collins thats right they have low end all day and night crank them up and they sound like the PA system at (The Boston Symphony Hall) ok maybe Im laying it on a bit thick however the DB 112 does come close. All I know is that one day in October I was performing at a unknown location in a cemetery and the local authorities came and locked me up for disturbing the peace Im still fighting that charge my defense is that no one could hear me lol I fully recommend these speakers. You heard first from the HITMAN
