Potent sound engine exploration
Most software synthesizers focus on one or two primary modes of synthesis. Not Current. You'll have access to five separate sound engines, including wavetable, sampler, granular, sub, and FM/AM synthesis for a realm of possible sound foundations. Each engine is far more expansive than meets the eye — two oscillators provide the foundation of the onboard wavetable entire, over 250 grains are onboard the granular sample, and the multimode sampler features exclusive time stretching to add a varied character to any sample. No matter your synthesis style of choice, you'll have the option of running your sound through one of Current's onboard filter types or a flexible modulation system for even more in-depth tonal sculpting. Likewise, an onboard mixer panel makes light work of blending and overlapping sounds for trudging entirely exploratory sonic territory. Minimal Audio's "known for" effects are available for use within Current's secondary effects engine, ensuring detailed tail-end sound sculpting for all-inclusive tonal design. Nine studio-grade effects, including compression, distortion, chorus, delay, reverb, and more, are immediately available for use, with nine loadable effect slots managing adjustable chaining and in-depth parameters for exclusive fine-tuning. Similarly, onboard modulation with curve, follow, ADSR, MIDI, MPE, and LFO modulator sources and nine swappable modulation slots allot dynamic exploration with Current's manipulable parameters. Sweetwater's savvy synthesists find this feature adds an entirely new element of movement and energy to any sound. To top it all off, an integrated modulation matrix popup makes it easier than ever to connect the dots and add wild diversion and dynamics to any sound.
Speaking of movement, Current's onboard arpeggiator, featuring more than 40 melodic and rhythmic modes, invites immediate dynamics to any track. It also includes a flexible chord generator with over 30 presets and routing ability for entirely creative compositions within a single sound.

Presets? Wavetables? Samples? Minimal Audio's Stream has them, and they are built directly into Current's interface for easy browsing and downloads. Onboard, Minimal Audio includes a collection of available curated sound packs, each of which is aimed at a specific tonal character from surging lead to atmospheric pads — perfect for immediate use with nearly any project. Likewise, each sound on Stream can be sampled directly in the interface, ensuring only your favorites are saved in memory. From meticulously chopped vocal recordings to massive bass and pad sound creations, Stream provides a bounty of potential for a realm of possible genres and musical stylings.
