Xpression chromatic harmonicas by Hohner offer musical dependability with a classic sound and modern feel. Xpression harmonicas use only the finest brass reeds — the defining element of world-class harmonicas for more than a century. Reeds are housed in a sleek stainless steel chassis that prioritizes air tightness and oozes with modern design, including sleek corners built for comfort and control. With prowess like that, seasoned pros will feel right at home, and intermediates can go beyond the diatonic box to explore the 3-octave chromatic range. Inside, a plastic comb houses the reeds. Since they are climate-resistant, many pros have come to prefer the reliable, consistent sound of a plastic comb over old-school materials. The brass reeds teem with traditional power, responsivity, and resonance, while the plastic comb delivers a consistent performance regardless of humidity, temperature, and elevation. Moreover, Xpression diatonic harmonicas feature service-friendly construction for fast disassembly, making it easy to clean, maintain, and take to gigs. If you’re ready to take the next step in your harmonica journey, there’s truly no better start than an Xpression chromatic harmonica from Sweetwater!
