The TASCAM CD-400U offers an impressive set of playback features in a compact single-rack unit that's ideal for institutions, music venues, retail, schools, restaurant applications, and more. It offers CD, SD, USB, and AM/FM real-time audio playback, as well as wireless Bluetooth streaming. You can also record from CD or the AM/FM tuner directly to SD or USB media. Complete with generous connectivity and RS-232C serial control, the CD-400U delivers high-quality results with a minimum of fuss.

Packed with smart features

The CD-400U sports a host of smart features you'll appreciate. This unit plays back CD-DA audio at 16-bit/44.1kHz and WAV files at up to 16-bit/48kHz. It also plays back MP3, AAC, and DRM-free WMA files at up to 320kbps/48kHz, including VBR. Supported media includes SD and SDHC cards, USB flash drives, and CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs via the unit's onboard CD player. Connectivity is equally generous and includes XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced analog outputs. You also get Bluetooth streaming and an integrated AM/FM tuner. The packed feature set also includes "Power on Play" and "Panel Lock" functions, RS-232C serial control, real-time recording from a CD or the AM/FM tuner to SD or USB media, and tons more.
