High-quality audio and versatile connectivity
JoeCo's BlueBox BBWR08MP is spec'd with 24 high-quality 24-bit/96kHz converters, along with eight mic preamps with comprehensive parameter control and 16 line inputs. The BlueBox offers pro connectivity that includes individually switchable mic/line inputs and balanced outputs. You can connect mics via tails from the rear-panel D-sub connectors, or using XLR connectors on JoeCo's optional 2U breakout panel.

Dreaded DAW freezes or computer crashes? No worries. The BBWR08MP can back up all your source recordings — the ultimate safeguard against the unexpected. Not only can your BBWR08MP carry up to 24 channels of simultaneous 24-bit/96kHz bidirectional audio over USB 2.0 — the BBWR08MP records standard broadcast WAV files (BWF) to an external USB2/3 drive using the universal FAT32 disk format. So you're covered, no matter what. Confidence — it's a great feeling!
Broadcast WAV format recording
With the JoeCo BlueBox BBWR08MP, audio is recorded directly to an external USB2/3 drive (available separately) in Broadcast WAV format for instant injection into your production workflow. In addition to the BBWR08MP's multichannel recording capabilities, you also have simultaneous stereo mixdown and external summing mixer capabilities. Sweetwater FOH engineers are finding the BlueBox BBWR08MP ideal for set-it-and-forget-it multitrack recording of live shows.
Fully remote controllable
The JoeCo BlueBox BBWR08MP runs off a 12-volt power source, and you can disable channels and features to preserve battery life on location. The BBR1MP is fully controllable via JoeCoControl on Mac/PC, or via JoeCoRemote for iPad, which lets you set up your monitoring as well as individual channel parameters, including level, highpass filter, soft limiter, and polarity. Your levels are clearly visible on high-resolution meters, and you can tweak your monitor and four independent stereo headphone mixes with full control over volume, panning, solo, and mute.
