Premium Bento Rack
The Fredenstein Bento 10 D "module carrier" is a premium 500 Series chassis that accommodates ten modules in a 3-space 19" rackmount form factor. Fredenstein designed the Bento 10 D with several features that set it apart from most other 500 Series racks we've encountered here at Sweetwater. The 10 D's LCD display and rotary encoder lets you set up parameters and routing, and interface directly with certain Fredenstein modules.

LCD display and rotary encoder
What really puts the Bento 10 D in a class by itself is its LCD display and rotary encoder, which lets you set up your routing and other parameters with non-volatile storage. Further, if you have a Fredenstein F600A, F601A, F603A/B, F604, or F607 module mounted, you can even display all the operating parameters and tweak them right from the encoder.
Ideal 500 Series chassis for your studio or mobile rig
Other features of the Bento 10 D make it an ideal 500 Series chassis for your studio or mobile rig. It's hefty output current capability handles virtually any combination of modules. Onboard audio routing lets you daisy-chain modules with a simple flip of a switch on the back panel. Compressor bus linking lets you link compressor modules by engaging rear-panel switches. And each slot is fitted with an auxiliary audio input and output, for convenient insertion of effects and other processors. Utilitarian features of the Fredenstein Bento 10 D include a multi-Layer backplane for enhanced signal integrity and lower noise floor, a master ground-lift switch, and a universal power supply.
