To give the Bassline DB-01 synthesizer its aggressive edge, Erica Synths chose the LPF/BPF filter design from their acclaimed Acidbox synth module. And for maximum creative potential, the Bassline DB-01 offers a dedicated modulation track that allows you to record filter movements and save them as part of your sequence. Synth fans at Sweetwater immediately saw the potential for acid bass and goa trance growls, but as with any synthesizer, there's plenty of opportunity to discover new sounds and textures.
Randomize your patterns for instant inspiration
There's a lot of creativity to discover in the Bassline DB-01's 64-step sequencer, especially with the ability to randomize any pattern instantly. It's a great way to get a shot of inspiration, and the ability to save up to 64 custom patterns means you'll never have to lose something you came up with on the fly. You can also easily transpose a pattern to match the key of your track, which means you can have fun creating patterns and matching them to your tracks later on, instead of getting locked into a specific musical key when you save the pattern.
Ready for modern production workflows, with MIDI and CV I/O
Whether you're producing music in a DAW on your computer, performing with an all-hardware rig, or exploring the depths of modular synthesis, the Erica Synths Bassline DB-01 is ready to integrate. MIDI In and Thru ports are ready for daisy-chaining with hardware sequencers and other gear, and also allow you to play the Bassline DB-01 with an external keyboard or MIDI controller if you prefer. CV/Gate inputs and outputs are ready for use with Eurorack modular synthesizers and semi-modular gear — you even have analog clock input and output for syncing with all-analog setups.
