Tons of power in a lightweight amp!

Huge on power, the Bugera Veyron M BV1001M bass head rocks a whopping 2000 watts while keeping the weight down, thanks to the high-efficiency Class D power amp. The preamp is driven by classis MOSFET technology, which imparts a warmth to your tone. Getting to gig should be no problem, due to the convenient built-in carrying handle. When you're at the gig, the footswitchable FX loop simplifies your onstage setup, and the dedicated balanced DI makes it easy to connect to the soundboard. And this just scratches the surface of the Bugera Veyron M BV1001M bass head's features!

Tons of tone-shaping tools

Huge power and light weight are great features, but there's so much more to the Bugera Veyron M BV1001M bass head. The passive Gyrator EQ circuitry gives you authentic tube-style tone, and a selectable mid-frequency switch conjures five classic sound variations so you shape the sound for your particular playing style. At Sweetwater, we know compression, and we know you'll appreciate the compression options included in the Bugera Veyron M BV1001M bass head. The studio-grade compressor provides transparent, musical compression and gently engages and smooths out peaks for the ultimate tone. But it doesn't stop there, as Bugera built in special Dynamizer technology that further enhances your tone. What is this Dynamizer and what does it do? Think of it as parallel compression, like that used in the studio for years. You signal is split into two discrete signals: a dry version and a heavily compressed version. The Dynamizer recombines these separate signals, giving you the ability to get the most out of your tone! Get big power and tons of tone and feature with the Bugera Veyron M BV1001M bass head!

Bugera Veyron M BV1001M Bass Head Features:
  • 2000 watts of bass power to fill any room
  • Efficient Class D power amp keeps the weight down
  • Optical compressor and exclusive Dynamizer technology for ultimate bass tone
  • Gig-ready carrying handle
  • Balanced DI out for connecting to a soundboard
Get premium power without the weight with the Bugera Veyron M BV1001M bass head!

Bugera Veyron M BV1001M

This is my first light weight class D bass head. So far, I'm very pleased. I have paired the head with a Hartke hydrive 410 and a Hartke xl 15 w/ great results. I'm happy with the tone of the Veyron which I would describe as very clean and it has plenty of power (I'll note that for a warmer, tube like sound, I use SVT & SansAmp patches from my Zoom B3 via the Veyron's efx loop). I've used the head in praise and worship services and in 70's - 80's rock band rehearsals with a power drummer and two electric guitars. I'm now comfortable with leaving my GK 700RB @ home. The durability of this head still waits to be seen, but for now, I have no problem giving the Veyron 5 stars. The on-board compressor is also a plus. The cooling fan is very quiet (unlike many of the reviews I've read concerning other class D products on the market).

Bad Azz Bass Head!!

I recently played my first gig after purchasing the BV1001M and pairing it with my 1200W Boom Bass Cab. The room was a fairly large banquet room for a Holiday party. My set up was a Digitech BP335 through the send/receive channels of the amp, a Marcus Miller V5 bass, and a Line 6 wireless system. After tweaking the EQ, I adjusted the volume to suit me on stage and the keyboard player looked at me and said "Man ... that thang is sounding right!" After patching it into the sound system, it was like "butter on the breakfast toast". And guess what ... I had plenty of head room to spare! Things performed flawlessly. I'm very happy ... and I didn't have to break my back coming through the loading dock with equipment with just one trip

I bought the head and a 210 cab first and I was blown away at the power and clarity of this amp until I brought the 15, OMG it was amazing, the clarity the punch the power, for the price you can't do better. This rig kicks butt and i've been playing bass professionally for over 35 years. the only thing I can tell you is to buy it and you'll see. Sometimes ya just gotta roll the dice and I promise you won't be disappointed,

Rocking amp

I was reading reviews on this amp because I was in search of a new one I was shocked when I first heard how well this thing was I got the veyron and bt210ts and bn115ts it has great power and lots of low end very nice highs I love that it has a mute button for tuning I read some reviews that mentioned they wished it had a tuner and rack ears but that doesn't matter I give this 5 stars because there is not 10 stars just the price is unreal the service at Sweetwater is awesome thanks Jeff Jent for the great service
