Excellent Pedal

Great sounds right out of the box. I assumed many of the preset sounds would need tweaking but I was wrong. DigiTech has created a lot of useful sound combinations that work well just as they are. I would however, recommend studying the manual because there are so many more variables and settings that will allow you to create your own sounds. The pedal is extremely lightweight, but also seems strong and sturdy. I have even found the product box useful for transporting the pedal to and from gigs.

Surprising great effect pedal

I just bought this effect pedal and came home and plugged it in went thee some of the effects and was surprised at the level they were. I have a Behinger ultraabass bx4500h with a single GK 18" cab and I can't use afew of them died to the fact it rattles my house.but the other low effects I can use at home sound good and I am sure with a little more time and playing around with this pedal I will get it tune just right. Only draw back to it is the plastic case wish it would have been aluminum or some other light metal.

It's just what I needed to add a little something to my bass.

Nice piece for the money

I love my head/amp set up (Little Mark II head with Epifani 2x10 cabinet) and was looking for just some tweaks to make it a little better. This processor was the ticket. It all the effects I'll ever need and more, and it's pretty simple to use and program, too. I am actually NOT a big fan of effects on the bass guitar, so I am only using a little compression with some noise reduction and a tad of EQ. I will use the occasional fuzz tone for certain specific tunes. The only down side is that the tuner seems a tad touchy to me -- lots of bounce to the LEDs. But even that is not a deal-breaker. If you are looking for an expensive processor with lots of flexibility, look no further. I would certainly recommend the BP90.
