Vintage amp tone with modern technology

Roland's Tube Logic design brings classic tweed tones to the Blues Cube Hot combo amplifier. Every aspect of these much-loved vintage amps from the preamp and output tube characteristics to the power supply compression to the speaker output is found in the Roland Blues Cube Hot. Pick players and fingerstyle players will love the touch response and sensitivity of this master-crafted amp. Sweetwater knows that amp tone and response are important to you, and we're confident that the Roland Blues Cube Hot can do the job.

Wide range of tones

The Roland Blues Cube Hot gives you two individually voiced channels. Like a tube amp, the clean channel's volume adds tube fatness and bite as you turn it up. The variable gain of the crunch channel lets you dial in the perfect amount of grit. You'll also find a switchable boost for adding crunch and a tone switch for more high-end presence. High-quality reverb adds dimension to your tone. And the Blues Cube Hot's custom 12" speaker is tonally versatile and ready to gig.

The flexibility for any gig

The Roland Blues Cube Hot is loaded with useful features designed to help the amp excel in any situation. Its cabinet's reduced size and mass makes it easy to transport while still offering full-size tone. The power control offers four power output settings ranging from full gigging volume all the way down to 0.5 watts for quiet practice. A headphone output lets you practice at any time of the day or night without disturbing your neighbors. And the USB record output is perfect for capturing your guitar sounds directly to your computer.

Roland Blues Cube Hot 30-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier Features:
  • Gig-ready digital amp with authentic tube-style tone
  • Voiced like vintage tweed-era amps
  • Reduced cabinet size for easy transport
  • Power control switches between 0.5, 15, 45, and 30 watts
  • High-quality reverb
  • Record directly to your computer via the USB output
  • Open-back design with custom 12" speaker
  • NOTE: NOT compatible with Roland Tone Capsules
The Roland Blues Cube Hot may be the most giggable Blues Cube yet.

What a hidden gem...

I've owned my Blues Cube Hot for a few weeks now. Right out of the box this amp blew me away. While it doesn't try imitate any particular tube amp, it does remind me of of a Blues Jr. The amp does that on the verge of break up tone in spades and at any wattage. The attenuation is a big smelly point to me as well as the headphones out. I can dial in a tone at .5 watts and scale that tone up in volume without changing that tone just by adjusting the wattage. I'm sold on the technology. My next amp purchase will be The Blues Cube's big brother.

Best Solid State Amp On The Market

Being a tube guy most of my career I have to say this little guy sounds absolutely phenomenal. Great response, tone, compression, it just feels good. I've played a Gibson ES 335, Les Paul, Strat and Tele through it and it handles them all just fine. Very accurate too! It's a single channel amp with a Boost & Treble Boost , both are very useable. This amp screams quality and tone. Check it out, make sure you use your ears.

Very Pleased

I have never had a solid state amp that I liked. The ones I've owned were noisy and cheaply made. But this amp is dead quiet and sturdy. The footswitch I use (Boss FS-6) works great. I'm impressed by the way it imitates a tube amp and it only weighs about half as much.

Nice Amp

This is a great small amp with a lot of features, enough for most guitarist. It sounds great for a solid state amp and has more than enough options to bring you guitar playing to life. Did I say it "sounds great!" I just use mime for Jazz and it affords me the Jazz sound in nice small package. But blues or rock would sound just as good and it has a nice vintage look and great Roland build quality. Foot switchable, USB out to your PC, Boost and Tone inputs and a great 0.5, 5, 15 and 30 watt power settings; its all here at not a bad price. Most players will be happy with this amp.....

Sweetwater Advice

Roland Blues Cube Hot

The .5-watt setting is probably designed with practice in mind, but I conjured several ultra-low-wattage tones that I wouldn't hesitate to use in the studio. My favorite was a boosted, reverb-on-10, scooped-mids, Stratocaster-neck-pickup tone that was silky, with a little bite....
