Turtle AV’s Boardroom Buddies line of video extenders lets you outfit any meeting space with crystal-clear 4K video transmission. Plug your laptop or other device into a Buddy TX — HDMI or USB, depending on your device’s requirements — and it will send an uncompressed 4K/60Hz 4:4:4 signal up to 130 feet via a CAT6a cable to the Buddy USB-C RX, which then displays it on your monitor. Buddies also share data via USB 3.2 Gen 1, so you can plug in a camera or other peripherals at the transmitter and connect it to your display at the receiver. Power over Cable (PoC) lets you power either the transmitter or the receiver over their connection, eliminating the need for separate power supplies for each — a feature Sweetwater’s installers agree will keep your meeting space organized and tidy. Additionally, EDID management ensures your display works correctly regardless of the source you’re using.
