Viva la PAF!

The Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker Neck pickup looks and sounds like a well-played '50s PAF humbucker. Just like the originals, each of these handmade pups has its own DC resistance and sonic character. And to give your axe that vintage vibe, the nickel silver cover and poles are "aged," a painstaking process carried out in Duncan's Antiquity Room. This pickup is not wax potted, which also lends to the vintage sound and appearance. Every pickup is signed by Seymour himself on the magnet and bottom plate. For bone fide vintage PAF tone and vibe, the Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker Neck pickup nails it.

Must have for any tone enthusiast

These (I got a set) went into a Gibson CS-336 that I was going to sell and they perfectly balanced the natural tone of the guitar and added a lot of warmth with the organic 3d texture. I ended up keeping the guitar! I thought I would dislike the aged Alnico 2 magnet for the neck, but it sounds amazing with a 500K pot for the neck. Still plenty of clarity with no mud. Lush cleans. It's absolutely the best bang for buck if you're looking for affordable/superb paf tone. A lot of the magic comes from it not being wax potted IMO. Very dynamic and respond well to the vol. knob being adjust or pick attack. You can't go wrong with these!

Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers

Just put the Antiquity set in my Tele, Mahogany body, quartersawn maple neck, ebony fretboard, and man this is the perfect blues humbucker set. I couldn't be happier, replaced a $400 set of BareKnuckles and I can honestly say these are 10 times more beautiful sounding, detailed singing highs, and crisp defined lows. I am quite shocked, I play mainly blues and blues based classic rock with alot of extended jamming and the character and voice on these humbuckers takes me right back to the blues, Zepp, Skynyrd, a very nice bright yet soft tone, clear as a bell, almost like a great single coil but with bite and balls. I am ecstatic, thank you Seymour Duncan and thank you Sweetwater.

Pickups really breathed new life into my Epi. Dot

Recently replaced my Epiphone Dot series pickups with the Antiquity bridge, and neck pickups. Definitely made a big improvement in the clarity of the guitar.
