These all come together, imbuing the pickup with the warmth and midrange punch you love. Seymour Duncan Antiquity single coil P Bass pickup

Definitely an improvement over the stock pickup in my Squier Classic Vibe 50s P Bass. Lots more definition overall.
Music background: Bass guitar 42 years.

Thumping, Vintage sound, with some attitude

I just purchased this wonderful pickup for my Squier Bronco Bass. I have always wanted an old school P bass but I like a short scale bass because I am a guitarist and short scale is easier for me to get around on. The Bronco basses come with cheap electronics and a covered Strat Pickup.... so it won't give you the umph you need! So I got this vintage puppy to throw in the slot and some new electronics. I had to modify my pickguard so the pickup would fit but not an issue! I wired it up with ease in minutes and ft the adjustment correct and put some foam under the pickup so it wouldn't move at all after I set it where I wanted it. Then I put the bass back together and plugged it in and took my finger and really dug in for the first hit on my low E string and Thud! This HUGE undeniable fender PBass tone jumped outta this little bass! It's very dynamic and has good mid range sounds great with fingers or a pick which is what I primarily use. I have recorded bass at a session for the last 2 days with it and it blew my socks off! Love it THANKS RYAN MURRAY!!!
Music background: Session Musician, Lead guitarist
