Enjoy optimal performance everywhere
No RF environment is too crowded for the A20-SuperNexus. Its SpectraBand technology offers an impressive tuning range from 169MHz to 1525MHz, enabling you to find open frequencies anywhere in the world. Its HexVersity architecture provides unrivaled antenna coverage, making it ideal for large venues. The six antenna inputs can be configured to suit different applications, including Diversity (1 antenna pair), 4Versity (2 antenna pairs), HexVersity (3 antenna pairs), and Zone Combine modes. At Sweetwater, we’ve found that setting up this wireless handheld microphone is a breeze, thanks to AutoAssign, which enables automatic frequency scanning and setting on all transmitters with a single button press. The A20-SuperNexus also features an integrated real-time spectrum analyzer and scanner for intuitive frequency coordination.

Straightforward remote control
The Sound Devices A20-SuperNexus includes built-in NexLink functionality, allowing live sound engineers to take complete remote control of their system’s wireless transmitters from front of house. With NexLink, you can change frequencies, monitor, time-code sync, and even fully power up and down all the transmitters in your system with the push of a button. Additionally, the A20-SuperNexus features GainForward technology, eliminating the need for gain controls on the wireless transmitter or receiver. Instead, you adjust the mic’s gain using your console’s trim, just like with a traditional wired microphone, with no loss in headroom or noise performance.
Truckloads of rock-solid connectivity
The A20-SuperNexus features native Dante, MADI, AES, and analog outputs, along with seamless bridging between MADI, Dante, AES, Optocore, and analog formats. It includes six network ports — two RJ45 and four SFP — that can be configured for Dante, Dante Redundancy, and Control, with an optical fiber Ethernet option via two SFP slots. The front panel is equipped with 3.5mm and 1/4-inch headphone outputs. Additionally, the A20-SuperNexus offers USB-A and USB-C ports for thumb drives, keyboards, transmitter pairing, and time code synchronization, with support for USB hubs. The system also provides a PoE+ output for powering compatible external devices, including the A20-Outpost-NL NexLink remote antenna mount.
