A Sweetwater x Andertons Hot-rodded Workstation
Drawing from over 15 years of innovation, Darkglass’s flagship Anagram puts the future of bass amp and effect modeling at your command. This Sweetwater-exclusive Guitar Essentials edition only expands those capabilities, adding a complement of amp and effects models created for Sweetwater in partnership with Andertons and Darkglass. Engineered from the ground up, this impressive pedal-sized unit revolutionizes the way you approach your rig, boasting forward-thinking features such as NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) integration, compatibility with AIDA-X models, and a supremely powerful hexacore processor for real-time, low-latency performance. A library of Darkglass amp/effect models and effortless integration with Darkglass Suite provide you with stage-ready sounds right out of the gate, all easily navigated via Anagram’s drag-and-drop workflow, fluid block-based UI, and color touchscreen display. This seamless suite of digital control then dovetails with Anagram’s physical controls, with six knobs and three footswitches available to access the pedal’s three modes (Preset, Scene, and Stomp), onboard looper, IR loader, global EQ, and mixer. Furthermore, Anagram also sports a seriously robust set of connectivity options, including stereo balanced XLR outs, stereo 1/4-inch outs, a stereo effects loop, and MIDI, to slot into your rig with the utmost ease. Did we mention Anagram also doubles as an audio interface via USB-C? Tied together in a lightweight, compact aluminum enclosure that takes up minimal space on your pedalboard, the Darkglass Anagram is far beyond a multi-effects workstation; it’s truly whatever you want it to be — from an open-source bass and guitar modeler to a stage-ready workhorse to the heart of your at-home studio setup.
Note: With Firmware 1.13, the Anagram now has a working multichannel audio interface for macOS and Windows platforms. Please contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer with any questions.

Cutting-edge engineering delivers superior performance
Anagram represents the culmination of over 15 years of Darkglass innovation, so it’s no surprise that this pedal-sized powerhouse packs seriously cutting-edge engineering under the hood. A state-of-the-art hexacore processor forms the pedal's core, providing an ultra-low-latency operation for flawless real-time performance. Next, crystal-clear 32-bit/48kHz audio processing emboldens your sound with pristine clarity, fidelity, and a whisper-quiet noise floor. It all adds up to an immensely powerful little pedal that’s capable of running three NAM profiles at a mere 1.3ms of latency.

Intuitive UI and block-based operation
Featuring a high-resolution color touchscreen and six knobs inspired by Darkglass’s signature 6-band EQ, Anagram’s seamlessly sharp base-6 UI offers effortless navigation of this workstation’s gapless library of sounds. Crafting presets and sculpting sounds is a breeze thanks to the block-based drag-and-drop architecture, which lets you chain up to 12 blocks in series and split your signal to run up to 24 blocks in parallel.
Load your favorite NAM profiles and IRs
Clearly designed with an eye toward the future, the Darkglass Anagram boasts full-featured NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) integration. NAM is a technology that uses deep learning to enable users to capture amplifier and dirt-pedal tones with superb sonic accuracy. And because of NAM's open-source nature, users can freely create and share these captures, granting your Anagram an essentially infinite well of tones to draw from. Moreover, because Anagram features both NAM integration and the ability to load in custom IRs, calling it a mere “bass workstation” doesn't paint the entire picture — load up any of the countless guitar amp NAM profiles and guitar cab IRs available online, and Anagram doubles as the centerpiece of your 6-string rig.

Darkglass amps and effects, available only at Sweetwater
For those who want a little more right out of the box, Anagram comes preloaded with an expansive collection of Darkglass signature amplifiers and effects. You’ll find all your favorite Darkglass bass amplifier models, each captured with such a precise degree of accuracy that they’re essentially indistinguishable from their physical siblings. Additionally, Darkglass collaborated with both Sweetwater and Andertons to create this Sweetwater-exclusive Guitar Essentials edition, featuring 11 amps and three effects pedals that deliver legendary tones across the musical spectrum. Darkglass gives you more than 50 effects blocks right out of the gate, ranging from Darkglass overdrive pedal models to enveloping reverbs, ambient delays, and much more. No matter what sound you can dream up, the Darkglass Anagram is ready to make it a reality.
Three unique modes of operation
The Darkglass Anagram boasts three modes to perfectly tailor to your preferred playing experience:
- Preset: This mode gives you the power to instantly swap out your signal chain, with the ability to swap between your favorite presets via Anagram’s footswitches.
- Scene: Anagram’s Scene mode allows you to shift between distinct parameters within your signal chain to best suit your performance needs.
- Stomp: Stomp transforms Anagram with pedalboard-style operation, allowing you to bypass or activate up to three effects by stomping on the footswitches.

A cluster of convenient utility features
Once you’ve sorted out your favorite amps and effects, the Darkglass Anagram puts a robust suite of utility functions at your command to ensure you’re ready for any sonic situation. These range from bog-standard tools like a tuner to Anagram’s comprehensive looper mode. Sweetwater’s discerning tone chasers also champion the flexible global parametric EQ and mixer, which allow you to shape any signal to your heart’s content. Further, if you seek even greater versatility, the workstation comes complete with a stereo effects loop/assignable expression pedal input to integrate your stompbox collection.
Complete connectivity
Whether you’re plugging straight into the front of house at your next gig or recording in your home studio, Anagram’s all-encompassing I/O section has you covered. It all starts with an instrument input, paired with both stereo balanced XLR outs and stereo 1/4-inch outputs with pre/post functionality. Plus, musicians running complex stage rigs will no doubt appreciate Anagram’s MIDI control inputs. Last and arguably most impressively of all, the unit boasts a USB-C out with multichannel audio support and audio interface capabilities for seamless recording between your instrument and your DAW with your favorite sounds and settings.
