Captures Loud Instruments with Ease
The Audio-Technica AE2300 cardioid dynamic instrument microphone can tackle guitar amps, brass, and percussion instruments, and other high-SPL sources without blinking an eye. Loaded with a double-dome diaphragm, the AE2300 delivers excellent high-frequency and transient response. Minimal off-axis coloration ensures stable phase cohesion in multiple-mic situations. A switchable lowpass filter removes harsh, high-frequency hiss without sacrificing your instrument's tone. At Sweetwater, we love how the AE2300's low-profile design allows you to place it just about anywhere.
