Streamline Your Mastering Process
Simplify your mastering workflow with the versatility of Streamliner by ADPTRAudio. With this plug-in in tow, you'll take advantage of a state-of-the-art metering suite that monitors the Loudness, Dynamics, and True Peak aspects of your project. Codec previews let you get a precise evaluation of how your mix will sound to listeners on various platforms and at different streaming quality levels, ideally preventing issues with clipping or other undesirable effects across the board. Streamliner isn’t just for mastering, either. Swap to low-latency metering-only mode to keep an eye on peak transients or even audition your mix with the different codecs to get a preview of what your project may sound like on different platforms and make tweaks to ensure the integrity of your mix will hold up at the end.

Meters that matter
Half of the Streamliner user interface is dedicated to precise metering suites designed for both mixing and mastering. The first section, Loudness, displays current Loudness Units relative to Full Scale (LUFS), your mix’s current level, and the Target loudness, which can be set manually or chosen from presets. These presets help you achieve ideal loudness standards for various genres, streaming platforms, and broadcast requirements, giving you clear guidance as your mix approaches the target. Similarly, the Dynamics section shows your current dynamic range alongside a Target level, adjustable manually or via presets. It also provides a descriptive label of your Peak to Short-term Loudness (PSR) ratio, with terms like Competitive, Loud, Squashed, and Crushed to help you understand the character of your dynamics. The final section, True Peak, includes a Target function to set headroom, but it’s also useful to leave it at 0 to quickly spot and address any potential clipping issues.
Codecs that support your masters
Many playback and streaming platforms have specific audio requirements that your content must meet. One of Streamliner’s key features is the ability to preview how your master will sound on these platforms, ensuring your final product translates well wherever it’s heard. During mixing and mastering, you can set a Target loudness to work toward. When it’s time to export, Streamliner lets you create files in the exact formats accepted by streaming services, broadcast channels, and listening platforms. With a wide range of codec options, you can prepare audio that meets broadcast standards or tailor versions for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and more. For smaller projects, like custom intros or outros for livestreams on Twitch or YouTube, Streamliner offers flexible scaling. Sweetwater mastering engineers find value in the batch exporting feature, which streamlines finalizing masters by automatically organizing folders and naming files for quick review and upload.
