Less Space, More Time Division
Simple, flexible, and small, Doepfer's A-160-1 clock/trigger divider module adds a ton of timing utility to your Eurorack rig. As far as clock dividers go, it hardly gets any more basic than the original A-160, which takes a single trigger/pulse signal and reproduces it at six different divisions, from 1/2 to 1/64. Each divided signal has its own output accompanied by an indicator LED, which we find incredibly handy for troubleshooting and blind patching. Sweetwater synth gurus have found endless uses for the A-160. It's easy to create rhythmical patterns and fire off drums, and with a bit of ingenuity and the A-160's Reset signal (which halts the divider), you can do all kinds of things, from basic sequencing to commanding ADSR envelopes.
