The only picks I use

These are the best picks I've ever used the amount of attack and control is perfect. They work great on both electric and acoustic. I have ziplock gallon bags full of these and they're all I'll ever use.

If Batman had a guitar pick...

If Batman had a guitar pick, this would be it! Guitar picks are an incredibly overlooked, but important part of a guitar player's technique and tone. Like many, I have tried just about every pick available, in numerous styles, from numerous companies. I am a fan of JP, and was excited to learn he had a signature pick. Any fan of JP can tell you that the man is highly intelligent, and obviously knows what works in pick design. A pick's material can produce different tones and feel, and I am glad JP decided to go with Ultex over the traditional nylon (red) or Stiffo nylon (black) used for the Dunlop Jazz III. Ultex produces a very nice, clear, bright tone. It is also incredibly resistant to wear. The shape of the tip for this pick is also somewhat conical, which guarantees smooth feel over the strings and a super fast release. The gripping surface is comfortable, and has matte surface for better grip without needing raised lettering; although some players prefer raised lettering for grip. This pick sits comfortably in the hand with no slippage, which leads to greatly reduced stress while holding it. I highly recommend these picks for players of any style, as they are great for both lead lines and chord playing.

Excellent pick

If you are a Jazz III fan, I think you'll really like this pick. It is a wee bit stiffer than a standard Jazz III and is sized in between the Jazz III and the Jazz III XL. This pick is nicely manufactured with a clean finished edge and polished tip. It is a very fast pick, clean, and not overly bright, but articulates very well. It also stays put in my hand, as many smaller picks have a tendency to rotate for me. They may be a bit more expensive than the standard Jazz III's, but are definitely worth a try.

I am a long time tortex user, more recently tortex jazz III. I was hesitant to pay the difference for these but just went out on a limb. I was blown away. These are thicker yet lighter than my jazz 3 and just a tad larger but in a great way. Also, the buffed tip provides faster release without sacrificing articulation. I immediately felt less drag in rake passages in comparison with the jazz tortex. Do not get me wrong, the tortex are great... These are AWESOME

Perfect fit if you play traditional picks

I have always disliked jazz picks. In part because I have large hands. The Petrucci jazz picks however are the perfect fit. It is just the right balance between a traditional sized pick and a jazz pick. Not too small not too big. I have noticed that have have been able to play faster with these. I am really happy with these picks and I haven't put them down since I got them.
