Sweetwater Hand-selected
Sweetwater Hand-selected models begin with a visit to Martin’s Custom Shop in Nazareth, where Sweetwater’s guitar experts choose tonewoods on-site and help shape each instrument’s specifications. From body style and bracing to neck profile and appointments, every detail is selected with purpose, resulting in exclusive Martins with premium materials, distinct character, and player-focused performance.
Museum Inspired
Sweetwater’s Museum Inspired series brings defining instruments from Martin history back to life. Each exclusive model is based on a guitar preserved in the Martin Museum and re-creates its character through period-correct body shapes, tonewoods, construction details, and appointments. These instruments give players a direct connection to the designs that helped shape the acoustic guitar as an instrument.
Project 91
Sweetwater’s Project 91-2 re-creates the second of Martin’s 91 original prewar D-45s: serial number 56394. This extraordinary instrument captures the historic guitar’s distinctive 12-fret design, solid headstock bordered in pearl, and elegant “C. F. Martin” inlay. Built with period-correct materials, appointments, and craftsmanship, it carries forward the story of one of Martin’s rarest and most significant guitars.
