This is a line of operating systems developed by Microsoft for use on both home and business PCs. The primary objective for Microsoft in developing Vista was to improve online security. Windows XP had a number of vulnerabilities, making it a prime target for hackers and their seemingly endless supply of malware, viruses, and spyware. Unfortunately, upon its original release early in 2007, the OS was not wholeheartedly embraced by the PC community.
