Waves Audio has announced that effective immediately, their IR-L Convolution Reverb plug-in has been added to six of its most popular bundles: Native Power Pack, Renaissance Maxx, Gold Bundle, Platinum Bundle, Diamond Bundle, and Broadcast & Production Bundle.
Convolution reverb accurately reproduces the sound of real acoustic spaces and allows users of the IR-L plug-in to place their own music in some of the best sounding concert halls, recording studios, cathedrals, clubs, and rooms in the world. Existing owners of the bundles listed above can get IR-L Convolution Reverb free under the Waves Update Plan simply by logging onto the Waves Web site. Also, anybody upgrading to one of the six bundles will automatically receive IR-L once the upgrade is registered. Once you own IR-L, you can go to Acoustics.net, which is Waves archive of impulse response files, and grab all you want (which will likely be all of them). New additions include The Apollo Theater, the Yerba Buena Art Center, the San Francisco Columbarium, Sound on Sound Studio, and many others.
