The only thing that could make this bundle more perfect would be including the rvoxx. Nonetheless, it has all of the essentials I need for my mixing

First, I never leave reviews. Moving forward. I've been using Logic Pro X stock plugins for a while and they've worked
absolutely great for me. I just felt like good wasn't enough if better was an option. I tried the Waves Gold Bundle and mannnnnnnn was I impressed. The interesting thing is, I haven't had the bundle for 24hrs yet.

Bought it for the stereo imaging plugins that are phenomenal pleased to find out the rest of the plugins this bundle includes are amazing as well. great reverb and multi-band compressor for the...price this bundle was a easy buy.

I've had my home studio set up about 4 years now. Been using Cubase stock plug-ins with a few from Native Instruments and IK Multimedia. They all have worked just fine, but I've been wanting to upgrade my plug-ins for a while now. After researching different brands within my price range I decided on Waves. Then yesterday I found the sale price and finally pulled the trigger. I've been able to use them only about a day now, but I hear a very marked improvement in sound quality. Plus with the large variety of content... I'm gonna be set for a while. Totally stoked about this purchase, especially with the huge discount. Great job Waves, and thanks for the sale price. Extremely great value!!!

For someone new to Waves plugins...this is an excellent starting bundle. I was able to obtain this bundle at during a promotion sale making it an even more awesome deal.

Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, and Studio One stock plug-ins are absulutly awsome. They work great right out of the box to start making musical madness. It's just that Waves provides you with a whole other level to unlock and unleash a better version of your creative arsenals.

This is classic Waves at a screaming deal price. Compression, reverb...used right away with very little tweaking...nailed it.

I've been around long enough to remember The huge racks of outboard gear that a real studio would have. I purchased ProTools last year and only recently started using it. My Sweetwater engineer Adam suggested the Waved Gold bundle when I called to ask for advice on FX for my simple home studio. I couldn't be more pleased! The compressors, EQs, channel strip, delays, chorus, reverbs and mastering tools are just incredible! Everything is very easy to use - just turn the virtual knobs like you would on a piece of hardware - and sounds fantastic. Best investment I have made. Thanks!

This is definitely an amazing bundle! they don't lie to you when they say this is the most popular of them all!
you get emulations of Neve stuffs plus Hybrid compressor and Delay, you get a complete guitar software, you get several of the renaissance plugins and most importantly. It sounds amazing!

Awesome plugins in this bundle and this is all you need in your project studio. A great mix between eq, compressors, reverbs, delays, meters etc. I really like TrueVerb and all the compressors and eq. A must have in your studio. I also want to thank Aaron Cieslikowski at Sweetwater for excellent service and the guys over at Waves for great support.

THIS PRODUCT HAS MANY AMAZING PLUG-INS. I'M VERY PICKY SO I HAVE MY FAVORITE TOOLS OUT OF THE BUNCH. I LOVE THE MAXX BASS PLUG-IN BECAUSE I DEAL WITH ALOT OF BASSY TRACKS FOR HIP-HOP AND SPANISH BANDS. IN COMPARISON, THE PLATINUM AND DIAMOND OFFERS A FEW MORE MUCH NEEDED PLUGS, BUT THIS IS A GOOD BANG FOR YOUR BUCK IF ON A BUDGET. DEFINITE MUST HAVE!

What I have used seems to work okay. I, like in the case of many surveys, haven't had time to establish an effective opinion but all seems well.

Waves gold is a great way to get started in the Waves universe. It has all the basics you need, and I find them generally far more pleasing than the standard plugin suites you see on most DAWs. What I like most about this bundle is the options they provide at each point in the signal chain - you have the ability to mix in the box and have it sound the way you want - vintage, modern, both, or something totally different. For the quality, price, and variety, nothing else comes close.

That said, the reason I gave this 4.5 stars is that they could expand the lineup a bit in some spots - at this point, adding the L2, another vintage analog EQ, and maybe an 1176 or LA-2A model would really make it more of a fantastic value. I know that some DAWs have their own versions of some of this (e.g., the BF76), but adding to this stable would really round out your options. This would step on Platinum's toes a bit of course, but it's similarly helpful to add options at that level as well to make it a more attractive step up. As-is, this was something I looked at for years, and now that I have it, I'm quite pleased but also think there's room for improvement.

An update to my previous review - you don't necessarily have to buy the Waves update plan every year. The plugins continue to work at their current level indefinitely. However, if you update your operating system or there is some other compatibility issue, you may have to buy the update plan to have them continue to work.

Most everyone agrees that Waves Gold is a good product and the rep at Sweetwater pinged me to check it out while it was on sale for 199. Good deal and so far a good product but I have not really dug into all its applications as if yet. Thanks Sweetwater.

I had always used these plugins in different studios and such but when I was this great deal I had to get them for my personal studio. They are excellent and with great quality. There are version with even more plugins but the gold bundle had just what I needed for my work.

Waves Gold Bundle has quite a few very useful tools. It's not about the number of tools it's about the quality of tools. Waves Gold takes it up a notch from the plugins that come with Pro Tools 11. A great deal for the cost.

Hope that you never have two computers die within a year or you could be without your plugins for weeks to months.
Besides that the plugins sound great, i really dig truverb, h-Comp and, H-Delay

Personal system setting changes are required (that shouldn't be necessary) and I've read they eventually stop support on the plugins. This support is needed for them to function. You then have to RE-PURCHASE them.. Other than that, the plugins are just ok. Not any better than super cheap or free vst's online.

We were really enjoying the plugins and had them on many tracks ... THEN, they started crashing our DAW, not loading, and we had done NOTHING different. The chat could not help beyond a certain point, then the tech support page would not send after more valuable time was spent filling it out. Back & forth ad infinitum for a week (then it happened again a week later) until we gave up, and are remixing ALL the tracks. Weeks of time wasted. DO NOT BUY ... If you do, you better FREEZE those tracks with the fx embedded & done, or you will be in our shoes at any given moment. Love Sweetwater, but really despise WAVES and the WAVES CENTRAL debacle. No refund unless you spend another 3 days trying to follow their 'remove license from the cloud' instructions that ALSO do not work. So $$$ down the drain.

Love the plugins, tired of all the additional hours spent trying to get them to work whenever i buy a new one or Waves Central updates.

Although the actual plugins are great, Waves has structured their install so that you cannot easily transfer your plugins to a new computer or drive without buying upgrades to every plugin. Attempting to install older versions of their plugins is nearly impossible. There are many companies putting out comparable plugins without forcing you to constantly buy upgrades. I am staying away from Waves.

2 years after buying this product, I am being forced to pay for it again to be able to use it concurrently with recently purchased plugins. Seeing such a decent product sweet bogged down by DRM is sad, but I will never purchase another waves plugin again after the level of support I received (huge hold times, non english speaking support, phone tree with non responsive options, told to call back and enter an extention to a place that didn't allow extensions to be answered). For a company that charges so much for their plugins you think the DRM would be hassle free (a la every other modern company). Many of these plugins are legacy or seriously underfeatured. And you'll be charged just to keep your plugin downloadable and usable even with no new features added. If you don't particularly like ilok, avoid this like cancer. BOOOOOO waves

The Waves Plugins may be great but to install them you are required to install Waves Central which is very intrusive and can take hours to install and to get it to work. If you ever decide to uninstall Waves Central, forget it, as it is very intrusive and plants files in dozens of directories. Even if you plug ins work from time to time you will see the pop up declaring your license void or missing often. Even after uninstalling it and all the plug ins you will still be haunted by this pop up as Waves Central buries itself into your system. It could and probably should be considered malware.

If you don't believe this review then at least do yourself a favor and demo a plug in from waves before buying because there is no refund on software.
