Sorry, Digidesign hasn’t added VST support to Pro Tools. But FXpansion has updated their VST to RTAS Adapter to version 2.0. New features include support for Pro Tools 7, support for multiple outputs from VST instruments, and a new configuration utility that FXpansion says is “crash-proof.” Other features include full VST2 support, such as sample-accurate timing, parameter automation, automatic tempo synchronization, easy preset browsing, and patch/preset interchange with other VST hosts like Steinberg’s Cubase VST, SX, and Nuendo. The upgrade is free if you purchased VST to RTAS v1 after October 1, 2005.
