The user interface (abbreviated “UI”) is the part of a device or piece of software where the human user receives visual or other feedback and where the user manipulates controls, parameters, and settings, as well as where the user inputs data or responses. The design of the user interface determines how easy or difficult a device or program will be to operate. See also UI and GUI.
