Steinberg has announced the release of version 4.1.2, a service release for Cubase 4 and Cubase Studio 4. This update includes a range of minor enhancements based upon feedback from Cubase customers, and also officially supports the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system. Cubase 4 also fully supports the new Euphonix MC Control and MC Mix control surfaces announced at Winter NAMM 2008. The 4.1.2 Update is free for all registered Cubase 4 users and can be downloaded now in the support section of the Steinberg website.
Steinberg has also released an update for both Nuendo and the Nuendo Expansion Kit (NEK), taking them also to version 4.1.2. This maintenance update includes a number of minor enhancements and like the Cubase upgrade, introduces support for the new Euphonix Artist Series control surfaces. Also, the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system is now officially supported.This update is free for all registered Nuendo 4 users and can be downloaded now in the support section of the Steinberg website.
M-Audio has announced the releases of new audio drivers for the MobilePre USB preamp. These new drivers now deliver full support for Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger) and 10.5.1 (Leopard), and can be found here.
