EastWest has just announced that it updated its PLAY software to version 1.1.6. Some of the changes, enhancements, and fixes include:
- Users can choose to automatically select MIDI channel or to default to omni, when adding new instruments.
- New extended and definable key ranges are now in instruments advanced properties.
- There is a new Sample Purge feature in instrument’s advanced properties.
- User-definable pitch bend intensity can be set in an instrument’s advanced properties.
- A test tone has been added to the settings tab for hardware diagnostics.
- EWQLSO script buttons now activate reverb release trail.
- The control range for volume sliders has been improved.
- Saved presets are now recalled correctly in Ableton Live.
- The “Close Window” bug in Ableton Live is now fixed.
- Stolen key commands in Steinberg Cubase now function correctly.
- Switching MIDI ports from an inactive device to “all” now functions correctly.
- Master reverb is now saved in user instruments.
- Pitch bend no longer causes dropouts in Image Line FL Studio.
