Roland has released version 1.3 of the Fantom-G operating system. The new version, which is compatible with the Fantom-G6, Fantom-G7, and Fantom-G8, adds new piano patches, hundreds of new rhythm patterns and RPS phrases, new real-time control features and keyboard modes, and much more. (Don’t forget there have been massive price drops on all three Fantom-G models!)
Native Instruments has released version 1.1.4 of their Massive soft synth. The new version addresses compatibility with Windows Vista 64-bit as well as Pro Tools 7.4.2 and 8 running under Leopard (OS X 10.5.x). General enhancements are also included.
Rob Papen has released version 1.5.5 of the Predator soft synth. The new version includes improved reverb, a new filter, new filter modes, new presets, and more.
