Native Instruments has released version 2.1 of KORE. The new version includes full Pro Tools compatibility under the Mac OS X 10.5, as well as new functionality with the KORE hardware controller and many other optimizations.
Universal Audio has released version 5.4.0 software for the UAD platform. The new version includes reduced RTAS latency with UAD-2, reduced host load on Windows multi-processor systems, improved host CPU spiking/dropouts in Windows Vista, and many other improvements. Free 14-day demos are also included for three new processing plug-ins: Fatso Jr./Sr. analog tape simulator and compressor for UAD-2, EMT 250 classic electronic reverb for UAD-2, and Neve 31102 and 31102SE equalizers for UAD-1 and UAD-2.
