Digidesign has also announced v1.0.1.989 of the free Xpand virtual instrument for RTAS on Mac. The new version provides Universal Binary support for Intel-based Macs and users with Pro Tools LE v7.1.1 or Pro Tools M-Powered v7.1.1 and Mac OS X 10.4. You must have installed Xpand from a CD (which is free save for shipping and handling) first in order to use this updater. The updater is a free download.
