In the music world, this is one method of sharing product knowledge with users of a wide range of hardware and software. Tutorials are more interactive than a user manual, and are designed primarily to teach by example, typically supplying the information required to complete a certain task in a clear, step-by-step manner. A tutorial may be as simple as a printed set of instructions, or as complex as an interactive video supplied on a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM.
