Tone Transfer

The sound a guitar makes is the sum of many parts, and the interaction of those parts creates the tone. Tone transfer refers to the interaction of the body and neck, specifically the manner in which the tone is transferred from the neck to the body. The type of neck joint has a bearing on the tone transfer, and there are many different schools of thought as to which method of neck/body construction provides the best tone transfer.
