FXpansion has announced the fourth expansion pack for their BFD acoustic drum software, dubbed the BFD Jazz & Funk Collection. Recorded at Omega Studios in Maryland by an engineering and production team headed by veteran drummer John Emrich, BFD Jazz & Funk is an outstanding collection of new percussion sounds played primarily with sticks and brushes, as well as selected sounds using mallets, rods, and hands! There are plenty of dynamic articulations that include some never heard before in a BFD library. All the kits were recorded in a warm, bright-sounding room, using high-end mics and preamps specially selected for both their transparency and accuracy.
