Tascam has released a brand new digital mixer, the DM-24…
Yes, of course we know that the DM-24 has been around now for nearly a year, but Tascam just released and posted version 2.01 for the DM-24, which essentially makes the DM-24 a whole new digital mixer! For current DM-24 owners, the download is available from Tascam for free. While there’s much to discuss, one of the most exciting changes is the inclusion of HUI emulation! HUI emulation allows the DM-24 to be a control surface for Digital Audio Workstations such as Pro Tools, Digital Performer and Nuendo. This means that a Digidesign 001 or a MOTU 2408 mk3 combined with the DM-24 is one of the most powerful, cost-effective computer recording systems you can buy! As we said, there’s a whole lot more to discuss, call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer today and find out about the “new” DM-24!
